Colposcopy Examination

Colposcopy examination can be performed with a leep procedure or cryosurgery during the same visit to the doctor. After a Pap smear test has shown abnormal tissues in the cervix, it is important to take a closer look at the problem area to determine the cause of the abnormal results, because a Pap test is only a screening test, not the diagnostic tool. Colposcopy examination can be performed with a leep procedure or cryosurgery during the same visit to the doctor.
