Cervical Colposcopy
A cervical colposcopy permits a better view of the genital wart or other hpv abnormalities during diagnostics or treatment procedures.
When the biopsies are examined at a lab, the results will show what level of cervical dysplasia has been found. There are three levels beginning with mild dysplasia, also known as CIN I or LGSIL. The next two levels are moderate and severe, or CIN II and III or HGSIL.

This is where a low-powered microscope is used to view the cervix for abnormal cells and also which determines where biopsies should be taken. Abnormal cells that form on the cervix are caused by the Human Papillomavirus, HPV, which is picked up through skin-to-skin contact.
